In 1932 the so-called “Gents self-winding hammer AS 1049-A” appeared and this is now the foundation for the current FORTIS 900.13.32 Orchestra a.m. Gold and FORTIS 900.13.31 Orchestra p.m. Gold models. The latter is different from the a.m. model thanks to its dark anthracite, cambered dial. Just as with the Orchestra a.m. Gold, the numerals and indices are raised and 5N rosé-gilded. The same goes for all the hands. The small second hand as well as the hour and minute hands are driven by the tried-and-tested ETA 2895-2 that contains 27 precious stones. Through the glass back you can see exactly what wonder of movement it is that makes this timepiece tick. Customers will also find plenty of strap options to suit this watch: from light bright to medium brown, and all the way to black leather. Anyone after something a bit more out of the ordinary can even choose from alligator and ostrich leather straps.
