Cockpit One Reference: 704.21.18 The cockpit of today’s aeroplanes may have been predominantly digitalised, but there is one instrument for real pilots that just has to be mechanical, automatic, precise: the watch. With the new cockpit models 704.21.18 FORTIS Cockpit One and 704.21.19 Cockpit Two, FORTIS has once again managed to bring precisely this wish into the 21st century. The FORTIS Cockpit One comes in the brand-new Flieger Professional bi-colour housing, at the same time allowing you a glimpse at the ETA 2836-2. Price: R22'570

Unlike the predecessor model, FORTIS has paid close attention to transferring the look of real cockpit instruments to the face of this watch. And this has been achieved perfectly thanks to the wide-cut date display. This gives it a particular depth and at the same time radiates professionalism. With a nod towards the predecessor models from the past few decades, the so-called “minutry” plays the deciding role in the FORTIS Cockpit One. Contrary to classic displays, this display is in the on-looker’s focus due to the size of the numerals, whilst the hours, on the other hand – offset to a lower level of the dial – play a lesser role. This timepiece is the right choice for all those who depend on to-the-minute precision, not just pilots. Different leather and metal wristband options make the 704.21.18 Cockpit One a quite special companion.
