The black also continues on the face, establishing the base for a perfect pilot’s timepiece. The most striking signs of perfection are the orange Compteur and second hands. These are coated with soft beige Super-Luminova and illuminate green in the dark. The permanent second and its simplified display on the face ensure clarity across the entire piece. Just as with other Aeromaster models, the indices are set in the outside ring of the dial, thereby giving the watch the necessary depth and structure required for perfect readability. The relief-like Compteur components of the face shimmer either glossy or matte depending on the light. So that the 656.18.18 perfectly matches your wrist, FORTIS offers its own leather performance straps which make the transition from housing to strap almost invisible.
