The clear readability of the white numerals and indices on the black face illuminate green in the dark and are sunk flush with the outside ring of the face in a timely process, thereby improving readability by a multiple. Despite the chronograph function, FORTIS has managed to maintain this readability. The purist design of the permanent small second display in particular has a big role to play here. The Valjoux 7750 doesn’t just the hour and minute hands, and the date display, it also offers the chronometry-typical start-stop function. Specially produced for the models in the Aeromaster series, FORTIS offers the right wristbands to perfectly match the shape of the housing.
